keel drain plug

Hello allWhile putting in my keel drain plug I noticed the keel thru hull rotated a few degrees. I have moved my tank and can now see the inside of the drain. It looks like there is a large nut with a rubber washer. Has anyone ever removed and/or rebedded their drain. The drain is quite a ways down there, and at the limits of my reach. I'm worried about a leak.Thanks Joe m

My drain was leaking permanently when I first got the boat, so since I didn't plan to haul in winter ,I cut it out and glassed it over with f.b. epoxy .Sent from my iPad
