Keel Damage - what now?

During the first weekend trip of the season I hit my first Reef! Luckily the keel was raised and we were drifting while the kids swam and not sailing so the damage is minimal. However the keel is slightly chipped 1/2"square and 1/8" deep. There are also a few scratches through the gelcoat (or is it epoxy barrier). I was wondering what I should be doing to avoid any longer-term damage as a result of fibreglass expansion etc. Any tips would be much appreciated.

More info

Dave" The Boat is a 1999 Hunter 240 and the Damage is on the very leading edge of the permanent keel as though the small bulb at the bottom edge has been chipped a little

I am going to be a pain in the butt but I do need a picture just to see how much so I can tell you ole Crazy's method of fiber goosin. I am being funny but a picture would really help so I can advise you what to do. Crazy Dave Condon
