reading the message from Chuck Michel regarding pulling my h23 reminded me that I intended to install these, the problem is my boat is in the water and I want to install prior to pulling, so, Can some one give me some measurments as to the location of where to secure these guides at/on the front of keel board support/rest board, if not if you can provide ,e with the exact or nearly so width of my wing keel at its widest point I think I can just center the proper width, thanks for any help Mike B

How I handle it

Mike, I have a 1992 H23 with a winged keel. The trailer has 2 planes into which the keel must go. One plane is parallel with the length of the boat which serves to center the boat on the trailer. The other is a lower plane which rewuires the wing to fit betrwwn the trailer floor and the upper keel guide. I have found that securing a fishing float on an 18 inch piece of line ti the aft part of the upper guide is ideal. I back the trailer into the water until the float is just submerged and then center the boat on the trailer, crank the winch and that's it. The winged keel is what makes it difficult. If the trailer is too deep, the keel will be on top of the guide that centers the boat. Hope this helps. Gary Bridi
