I am in the process of restoring a 1975 Hunter 25. I have replaced all 8 threaded rods in the keel. I have also repaired the entire hull area around where the keel mounts to the hull. My question is, the boat just had washers on the inside under nuts that were half corroded away. I can't beleave there was no kind of additional structure for the hull to support the weight of the keel. I have read in past forums about keel brackets being rusted. Could someone describe or post a picture of the keel mounting area to show these supports. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My email address is kchofmann@peoplepc.com. Thanks
