I am shortly taking delivery of a '95 336 and have been advised to retorque the keel bolts before re-launch. Can someone tell me the size of the keel bolts (studs) and the required torque in ft/lbs so that I can rent the necessary tools.
Bob, I looked for the spec and can't remember where I put them. However call or e mail Hunter and they will give them to you. Based on size of the nut. Don't quote me but it is somewhere around 175 to 200 foot pounds but double check with Hunter.
Hunter will ask what the size of the stud is. If it is an inch....it is 546 ft/pounds. I have an '84 31. Don at Hunter will be able to find the torque value while your on the phone. Hope this helps.
