Keel Bolt

Hi there,

I am new to the forum. Our club has Hunter 34, 1984. Recently, while examining the keel bolts, I noticed one bolt in the head which is about 13 inches of the center line that connects 3 other keel bolts! I have a photo, but not sure how to attach it to this post. Does anybody have any idea what the function of this bolt is?

The keel on the 34 has a wide flange cast into the top part .. If I remember correctly, there are two bolts up front, two more about 6 feet aft (straddling the center line) , then one under the dust bin just forward of the engine box.

Edit:Here is a shot of the two bolts in the head:
The other bolts aft ; one in the settee forward of the sink and the other in the bilge pump compartment port side aft.
