Keel Bolt Torque

Has anyone out there checked the torque on their H34 keel nuts? My H34 seems to have a recurring rust line at the keel to hull joint and I'm wondering if the nuts could be loose. I'll be hauling out soon and it would be a perfect time to check. Thanks!JoeO

Common Problem

I think must H34's have the same problem. Each spring I reclean up the hull/keel joint with a flexible caulk. There's always some cracking.Derek

Suggest you call the Hunter Factory and get the correct torque. They told me once but I forgot and do not want to publish bad information. Also, one time a boatyard foreman told me they use an impact wrench. I told them "Not on my Boat."By any chance has your boat been run aground?
