All The other day I was in the forward part of my bilge where the forward keel bolts are, and decided to replace the corroding connectors on the ground attached to the keel plate. I know, I know, if it's not broken, don't fix it. Can you see where this is going? In my enthusiasm, I pulled free the far end of the port wire. 1) I suspect they are grounds for the chainplate rods to the keel. Am I right? 2) How do I get to the other end of the wire? 3) If it is a complicated and destructive job, what is the risk of not fixing it right away? Any information/experience/speculation in this would be greatly appreciated. Chandler
