Kayak rack to clear the deck

I'm looking for a source of / or construction ideas for, racks to get a couple of sit-on-top kayaks off the deck of my Hunter 30. I seem to remember seeing pictures of yaks hanging over the side of a sail boat but I can't find the picture or a source for the racks. any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

Garhauer has some gear for kayak storage, you might check them out.

had mine built

they are built from 3in wide by 1/4 thick aluminum plate. shaped like a modified M, bolted to may cabin top right in front of my dodger to beside the mast (far enough from the mast to be able to move around) cost about $80.00 i might have some pictures i can email.

Just noticed racks not on Garhauer site, but in a supplement to hard catalog. They are part KR-1, and list for 85.00 pair. They consist of two L shaped ss tubes that bolt to stanchions.
