Saw this on ebay last night. Just wondering if anyone has tried it yet. I have never liked the factory wheel and would think this would look and work great.
Macgregor recommends NOT increasing wheel size for some reason or another. Keep in mind, also that a larger wheel will be that much more difficult to get around in the cockpit.
I purchased this exact wheel two years ago for my 26X. I have had no problems and it has created no space issues whatsoever. Also, anyone looking to install a self-steering unit at some point will need something like this to accomodate the hardware.
