The primary schedule factor in my departure is the completion of this 12 foot rowing boat for my girlfriend:



and this 22 foot trailer camping cruiser for a friend:



Aside from the personal connections, these may well be the last two boats I ever design so I would like to see them launched and have a chance to go out in each of them before I leave. Both were supposed to be done weeks ago but, they are boats.

I just went over to the shop to see my girlfriend's boat. The builder had a 15 foot sailboat hoisted up to the ceiling. It fell down over the weekend and landed on Barbara's boat.

Damage is just about the worst possible under the circumstances, not bad enough that I can say, "Oh, well, I'll see it when it's launched in the fall."; but enough that it will set things back just enough that I'll end up waiting around because leaving just a week or so before it was launched would be hard to justify.

Sheesh, if it weren't for bad luck you'd have no luck at all...
Seriously, that is a bummer. Sorry to hear it.

Roger, The sail boat looks similar to a sea pearl. Supposed to be a fun boat. Sam in philly
