I pulled the boat yesterday :cry:. I feel shortchanged this year I lost too many weekends between becoming a grampa and a planned cruise to Bermuda (NCL). Just wanted to say thanks for your serpentine posts. It is one of the best things I've done to my boat. She runs quieter and I never had to stop the engine to tighten a squeal. I've seen 70+ amps on my battery monitor which the Maxcharge would never allow before. I guess I'm luck to be able to make my own as they are quite expensive. I was a little reluctant but I'm glad I did it.

Funny you should mention running quieter. I find ours is not only quieter but the engine is smoother. Don't know why, but it is.... Grandfather, our daughter turns 6 in Feb... I'm a ways from that......

Maine how can you even hear the engine with your daughter on board? My daughter turns 5 next month. There is a reason I call her Squeaky! Question after question after.... Then the singing while you are trying to answer. You know.
Here is a trick I learnt from her kindergarten teacher. (londonwaldorf.ca)
Don't answer the questions with the adult answer. Answer with " Hmm, I wonder." or "How/what do you think it is...."
It's amazing to hear what she will come up with if left to her own imagination.
