Just the dressing

I have heard the term of dressing up your boat. from some of the photos that Ive seen, I see that there something really going on here. is there a correct way or a not so dressed way? all details or tips would go along way...thanks a heap

I usually start by washing it. Now do you mean dressed as in decorated for Christmas. If so I didn't take the time.

Oops It needs washed now, but the water at the dock in the marina is off till March.

If you mean for the rest of the year: Topsides PolyGlow. Decks just a good cleaning. Woodwork, I've been using, well I need to use something pretty soon. It's getting a bit rough.

I do well to just check on it in winter.

Interesting how things like this happen. Yesterday, honestly, my gal and I were sitting in the Whaleboner, in Bequia, trying to decipher the flags hanging above the bar. She wanted to learn to put them up correctly, but other than an old Blue Jacket's Manual, where I might look, I'd no idea if there was or what the "proper" order would be.
Thanks Lake Superior Sailor; won't I look the cool one, when I give her the proper order.
