Great for inland, but no offshore information since it's white off the edges of the land.

Wish I could view it on my company laptop (IE 8), but it seems to have been developed for Google's Chrome browser, and isn't very cross-compatible. I also noticed the following disclaimer:

"The wind map is a personal art project, not associated with any company. We've done our best to make this as accurate as possible, but can't make any guarantees about the correctness of the data or our software. Please do not use the map or its data to fly a plane, sail a boat, or fight wildfires"

this is what I use:

change to loops, then the pulldown to wind speed and direction. I've used this to anticipate wind shifts in races offshore (lasting over 3 hours).
