I am able to log into this forum with my laptop when I connect it to the net at my workplace, but I am not when I am at home using Comcast.net It has so far been several weeks of calls and requests but Comcast insists it is this site fault since they can't login themselves. Is anyone able to login to this forum through Comcast?

Hi Jose; I have Comcast.net here in Michigan and have never had a problem signing in to this site, and of course I am on it now. 9:00 AM on 3/16/2004. Sounds like a local problem with comcast to me Fair winds Dave

I'm also on comcast at home.
if you're comfortable digging around in your computer, can you open the control panel --> network settings and let me know the numbers that appear for your Name Server. I can do some testing of them from here. ph.

Any body knows the IP address of this forum server?. They tell me that pinning and routing it would tell where the problem is.

It was the !@#&^%^%$$ router at home. I turned it off and on and the site came back to life.
