Where is the world?

Hi Seadance - nice photo of the boys, it must have been earlier in the day. Check out the fog when we went. The video is the Back Bay of Biloxi going east, trying to get out into the open. We never made it either. Are you guys able to make the Fly Creek?

Seadance, the bright side is you could be

on the upper Chesapeake with 50 degree days and fog and forty degree water. But if you were here I would be cooking Christmas dinner for you and yours instead of my sister-in-law. ;D

It was 35 F last Saturday when I went sailing.

It was COLD and fast with 15-29 knots of breeze. The temps really dropped after the gorgeous and friggin COLD sunset. Great sail with the rail dipped a few times. Did I say it was COLD though?

35 degrees and may get colder before it gets warmer. We have snow in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday. Settle down in front of a fireplace with a good book and winter doesn't seem so bad. Get up on Monday morning and dig out and clears the car before going to work and winter is a pain in the ...........;D

You're at the wrong end of the Bay...It's in the 60's down here; cloudy and just rain (maybe) later this weekend... Almost Florida, sorta.

Buck , if it happens again this year I will post

the ice reports for the upper bay. Had friends that wintered at Blue Water yachts in Hampton. They discovered that four inches of snow made their solar panel stop working but a spatula makes a good snow shovel.
