Its missing a rudder and tiller but besides thats its all there and in decent shape for being 35+ years old. I talked the orig. owner donw to $700.00 so im pretty excited about it. Ites been awhile since I have been on the water so ill be rusty im sure, I used to have a hobie 16 but sadly had to sell it. Hopefully ill be on the water befor winter.:D

Man, congrats! There with you, paid 750 for mine last week. Doing some glass work now, while awaiting new rigginig from dr marine. Paint job next year, she has brand new bottom paint for previous owner.

Best wishes, wind in your sails and a hand full of water under your keel!

The 2+2 dictates a model change in the late '60, when oday added two berths under the cockpit area, one on each side. You are supposed to sleep four people in it, which is possible, but not something I will try!

This model also had a closed cabin, using a door, where the older classic Mariners had an open cabin like the smaller day sailers.

Thanks for the info. I'm new to Oday so I seek knowledge :)
