;D
Jon,Yeah, that 3 blade will be a drag..........but I think I might like it motoring into the wind heading up the Sound. Cruisers who have the 3 blade prop seem to sing it's praises when compared to the 2 blade- but we will see. Chip at CSR tried real hard to sell me a feathering prop for $2-$3k! I told him I would try my 3 blade for two years and consider it at the next haul-out. Yes, that is a T.V. antenna. Thought I'd try that as well as it came with the boat. I guess I can always take it down if I don't like it. I interested to see if I get good reception using it. If I want to take it down later, I hope you have a boatswains chair I can barrow! It doesn't look too bad, don't you think?........I like the way it is mounted a little forward. Did you see the wind machine? I really like the Tridata electronics that came with the boat. I added an S1 autopilot I got at the Boat show and a Garmin 498 chartploter. Now all I have to do is install them. That should be fun. Well, I have a couple of months to figure it all out. I will need to buy an extra Navpod to hold the displays. They step the mast tomorrow and will splash tomorrow evening. I will bring the boat over to Freemont sometime on Wednesday. Wish me luck!BTW, routing that air vent per your suggestion worked perfectly! Thanks.Cheers! Will
