A lot of faith
Hermit, you have a lot of faith in advertising. Says waterproof on the can and a picture of a boat. Have you ever heard of:Liar:. Like you I would like to know a lot more about blisters. I do know that many "experts" have nearly as many different opinions as there are experts.
Most of the ones on my boat are very very small, straight pin size. I talked to the marina guy, who has probably done more of these than many of the so called experts. He says that he would just put bottom paint over them. There are so many that the only way to fix it would be to take the entire area down to the gel coat, then trowel it with some filler, and then do a barrier coat. All this of course assuming that the hull dries out within the next however many days, weeks, or months. So, it is going to get bottom paint. Next time out, if they are bigger or more pronounced, will take some other action.
