For you locals: This is on Frog Mortar, looking toward Conrad`s Villa. Way out near the Villa are guys walking around on the ice, then 2 of them disappeared, jumped in!. Training for Fire dept. ,I guess (hope, actually)!

That is my image of Mainers, tough and just as happy with a pond as they are a bathtub. I keep trying to talk the wife into a trip "down east" and she reminds me that it isn't fun if she has to wear fleece to bed.
