Peggy, I took your advice and re-built the pump assembly on my 2 year old Groco HF. It was an easy job (30-45 minutes). But the brand new joker valve leaks! You can just look at the thing right out of the package and see that it is not ever going to be water-tight. I can't believe that this is the modern state of technology in marien head design and construction. This part is truly a joke. It is aptly named.
