I thought I might post this to alert others to the issues I am having with this unit.
The head is 14 months old, used rarely. Mid August last year I noticed that the elbow that supplied flush water to the hand pump was cracked, I called Johnson who directed me to my (not so) local W.M.. I ordered the part in August and received it 2 days befor Xmas. It was not W.M. fault they contacted the manufacturer weekly and kept being put off.
I now need a seal kit, the gasket in the upper part of the hand pump is torn. Johnson again has sent me to W.M. who has told me up front that with Johnsons' special order fee , the price of the kit, and shipping / tax, the cost will be close to what I spent on the head new! They also told me that Johnson has responded with at least a 5 week leadtime.
Just a FYI if you are in the market for a new head!
