Joe,Ahoy there, Ed!
So far, I have everything including the Internet. We lost power for an hour during the last previous storm. It took me two hours to clean both of the my driveways with my snow blower this morning. Thank God I'm retired, and I don't gotta go nowhere.![]()
Ed,Joe,
Have you considered a snow snorkel?

Joe,Ed,
I'm so freakin sick of this white stuff that I'm thinking of moving down to your neck of the woods. :cussing: My old 1971 Ariens Snow Blower just s*&t the bed on me again and I had to get out there with my shovel. All I can say is, spring better get here real quick!
That looks like a nice area too Keith. I have cousins who live in Georgia.Or just a little farther south Ed.
Hi Kevin!Hey Joe, Hope things are well !!!, What a crazy winter this year. Looking forward to putting the StarLyte the the water this spring!
Joe,Hi Kevin!
I'm doing great, thank you. Yes. It has been a crazy winter but I manage to keep busy doing some small woodworking and leather projects at the house.
Today is the first warm day that we've had in a long time and I'd like to take Penny across the river in the kayak and go beach combing, but I think the river is frozen where we usually cross. I just emailed a friend of mine who lives on the river in that town and asked him about this. If the river is pretty clear and he gets back to me on it, I may go today. The tide is supposed to be Low at mid day, which is ideal for walking the shoreline. The last time I was there, I cut some dead firewood for a campfire on the shore to heat up some soup brought from home.
This area on the river has a small cove which I had named "Ziggy's Cove" after my late canine pal and ship mate, Ziggy Pit bull. Penny and I spend many nights and hours on end, anchored in this cove in the summer months. There's a large marina directly across the river where singer Billy Joel keeps his 57' down easter powerboat, "Vendetta." I've heard that he also keeps a large green boat there too. Think Spring!
Regards,
Joe
Ed,Joe,
Monday it got to 62F. Tuesday a few degrees warmer. Still time to jump into car an drive to Charleston, SC for http://www.sewe.com/
60F is hard to take. You have to get out and sweep the sidewalk and driveway. Worse than shoveling snow...

Beautiful! My parents live at Pawleys and my kids get to spend a month there every year. I'll be walking along Bay street and the Battery this Summer, but we've never spent any time at Isle of Palms. Maybe we should consider that this year. Thanks for sharing!Joe,
