I've approached our community college to restart their sailing class. The previous instructor retired about 5 years ago, so the class has not been taught since. We have 8 Sunfish that have set outside all this time and are chalky. I'm thinking of your Poly Glo, but have never used your products. Perhaps you can suggest a strategy to get these boats ready. Please contact me at: jlcook@delmar.edu Thanks, Jim "Dream Chaser"

Poliglow is a competitor!

If you want poliglow go to www.ParadigmProducts.com Our products line can be seen on www.IslandGirlProducts.com If you want our products. Give me a call at 1-800-441-4425 to discuss. However, I hasten to add that I have to make a living and usually only give out small samples to people to give to their friends or to try to test for themselves to see if thay want larger amounts. Any way, we can discuss, if you call 1-800-441-4425 9-5pm but we are 3 (West Coast) to 6 hours (East Coast) behind your time zone. Best of Luck Jim Willis

Yes -use the info that Bob gave you.

If you have "basket case" gelcoat poliglow is good - have tried it myself over our SEA GLOW fluorescent de-oxidiser. The guy (Howard) who started/owns the company is an acquantence of mine (met at FL shows) who lives in Miami Springs, FL. Paradigm is an (agressive) distributor. If you want to try our stuff we give small samples to try. Our stuff is too expensive to make for multi-distribution. Unlike water based acrylics (Vertglas, Poliglow, Newglass etc - all equally rated) our products are also for NEW boats. On a white boat get a written warranty about yellowing like we offer. Thanks Jim W

Honest answers - regarding Poliglow is a competito

It is an old posting, but as I read the reply, with the note that Poliglow is a competitor, alarms went off. It made me realize that the beauty of these forums has been the open, honest answers with disregard as to who makes a profit. We appreciate the contributions in expert forums. I have used neither manufacturers product, but when the guest forum moderator starts talking profit, I get a bit uneasy.
