Had a great day on the James River sunday...steady 15 knot breezes. On the downwind leg I un-hanked the 150% Genny, all except for the top clew and ran sheets from both bottom corners back. Voila...Instant jibbaker! We did better than 6 knots in a 27 Catalina...I was on a friends boat as mine doesn't get splashed until tomorrow. Has anyone else ever tried this? It sure was a lot easier than running wing on wing. Does this stress the sail too much? Any thoughts? Anam Cara Mike
