Im new to sailing and bought a lancer 28. My jib tore this past weekend and I sent it off for repair. Can someone tell me what size jib I need for about 15 to 20 mph winds. The size that I use I was told is a 125 but it seems to do ok but i would like a smaller one for stronger winds. thanks

Captain Bill, you can use any smaller jib if you want. Even have one made. However, go to this site and you should be able to find the headsail dimensions for the Lancer 28.

It has been some time since I have been to these sites and I believe you should have no problems finding a used sail of small dimensions for you L28.
