sorry for another dumb question. How am i supposed to lead the jib sheets on the 1981 Hunter 22? It looks like it goes through the (black color) block on the toe rail, then wraps around the winches near the handrails in the cockpits, then it tails back through yet another block (white color) that is inset into the deck, then I am supposed to bend it around a regular cleat? Is that right? There is no cam cleat or jamming cleat. seems like a difficult rigging arrangement, no? Any ideas on where to position a cam or jamming cleat to improve this system?

as a dumb question. We were all new at this at one time. You are correct except from the block come back to the deck block (white one) then to the winch, terminating at the cleat. Make sure all sheets are on the outboard of any life lines.

I saw your question. We have not completed rigging the boom on our 26.5 We want to rig the main, but we are not sure - what goes where. Feeling really stupid. Have you found any photos or articles that were helpful? thanks, K

How I run mine.
Not sure what you mean by black block on the toe rail. I did not have any blocks when I bought mine. I use 2 blocks and snap schackels that I can move along the toe rail for either the jib or 155. For the jib I run it outside of the live line and under it ahead of the stanchion. For the 155 I attach it just behind the winch to the toerail. I then run the line straight to the winch. The other blocks you mention I have never used. I bought smaller blocks and smaller line for the asematrical spinaker that I attach to the back end of the toe rail. Check those "regular cleats" closely. Mine is smaller on the frount which jams the line just by wraping the line around it. There is a fellow club member who has repaced his with cam cleats. He has a wooden block under them to raise them about an inch. I'm at work so I do not have any pictures.
