My old Jib sheets went missing over the winter so I replaced them with two 40ft lengths of 3/8th Sampson Trophy Braid. My boat is equipped with Barlow self tailing winches. The sheets seem to be slipping when winching under a heavy load. What gives? Did I buy the wrong diameter sheets or is something amiss with my winch?
