Hunter 170 Lake Oconee
I am currently restoring a Hunter 170 and need to get two new Jib Sail rope Cam Cleats, can anyone provide a picture of one or a part number to assist in identifying the appropriate type to purchase. The only thing I can say is there are three screw holes where each cleat should be mounted.

When reinstalling, Use either 4200, butyl tape or anything you want but not 5200. Do not overtighten as the block you are going into the deck is a wood block. Can you place a photo of the three screw hole configuration on this thread to make sure what we are looking at to insure an appropriate response.

owen Kelley;
I was first making sure of the correct location where the blocks would go. Cannot understand why the previous owner took them off and did not give them to you... I believe Jackdaw is correct on the Harken swivel cam cleats but would check this forum store as they would have the correct information. the new owner of sailboatowners.com is a good friend of mine who use to work at Hunter which is why this forum store would know.
As for install, you are screwing into a wood encapsulated block. I would hand tighten only. If any stripped, simply fill the holes with a plastic welder and then simply rotate the base around. First drill slowly thru the plastic skin so the screws will go thru to prevent cracking. where ever sealant is applied light sand that area but not much.
Jackdaw; thank you for that link on the harken block
