Mortyd: I could not find the message you are referring to - where is it?Anyway, the jib halyard is one of the jib sail trim controls for draft depth and draft position.Personally, I would not mess with the jib halyard (or the main halyard), especially with a roller furling setup. The first time I tried the jib halyard adjustment, the halyard got away from me and the top of the sail thing slide off the tube and I had a devil of a time getting it back together. Instead, I would install a jib Cunningham (or a main Cunnigham). I used the smallest Garhauer soft boom vang, which is much easier to deal with and more precise than the jib halyard.If you agree with my method maybe you could submit it under your name to the C30 site.
