In preparing to haul out, I tried to take the jib on a 1995 Hunter 336 down. Even though I slacked the jib halyard and put some real downward pressure on the luff, it wouldn't budge. I examined the head of the jib where the halyard comes out of the mast. Looks clear and free. Threre's a standard Profurl furling system in place which also works fine. I can't imagine what's going on.We bought the boat this season with the rigging up so no prior experience.Any suggestions (other than keep sailing all winter)? Thanks!
