I like the idea
and asked the same question for the 23 a little while ago. There are a lot of responses, including pictures, in the archives here. I also spoke with the O'Day ubermensch Rudy on the subject. He recommended a stand up block at the base of the mast, leading to a turning block on the side of the cabin, led back to a cleat on the side of the cabin near the cockpit. I was only considering leading the main halyard back, as my plans include roller furling. If you do this work, please let us know how it comes out.
