Catalina 22 Chesapeake Bay
I recently purchased a 1981 - S-2, 9.2 meter sailboat in very good condition. After sailing it
I realize I want a jib furler. I need to know the headstay length. I am no where near the boat at this time so I wanted to know if anyone had that information. Also if someone
has some recommendations as to make and model of a reasonably priced jib furler for this boat please send me the info. The boat is on the lower Chesapeake Bay on the Va side and will basically just be used for cruising the Bay and possible gt to the Carib some day. Thanks for any input you offer. KP1968

There is a copy on this site in under boat info. CDI is the most popular inexpensive furler, but the Alado is easy to DIY (there is a video on youtube) if you would rather have a solid foil rather than a flexible one (I would, and I have owned a CDI).
