Jet 14 One-Design?

Hi all. I am cleaning up my grandparents property and my grandma instructed me to sell my grandpas Jet 14 One Design sailboat. I am not a sailor and have no knowledge on boats so I am trying to find some information about it so I can maybe determine a asking price. Can anyone here tell me a little about this kind of boat and things I should look for on it to tell me more about it? I appreciate any help and I plan to take pictures and will post them if needed.

There is an active jet 14 association. Just google Jet 14 sailboat. I am sure they can answer all your questions. They have a page listing boats that they are looking for.

I am curious about your old Jet 14. Is it wood? If you have not sold it yet, I might be interested, although I am on the west coast. What I am really interested in is a Douglass One-Design 14, but the original Jet 14 hulls were made from the same mold, and I could convert one. Cool little boat. Basically an old I-14 hull with a Snipe rig as I recall. We have a decent fleet of them here in Annapolis at Severn Sailing Association. Someone there might be interested.
