Looking for a diagram for the lines on the jiffy reefing on my 30' Did not come with any and would like to put it back in working order. Worked with it but no luck may be missing a part or two.

If you have an Isomat boom... here is a scheme for it. Otherwise it's pretty standard from boat to boat. The Isomat boom has extra sheaves in the end....

This is simple set up for my boat.

"Jiffy" also means "slab" reefing.... it differs from older method of tying in nettles or gaskets along the length of the sail by simply tying down the new luff and clew points with one or two centrally cleated lines.

I would like to set up at least one Jiffy Reef on our boat. The big issue is that the sail slug has to be dropped to allow two slugs to come down far enough to allow the first reef point to be engage on the luff of the sail. This puts me going to the boom anyway. Not an issue at the dock as it seems we usually luck out and get to start off reefed then shale it out after the wind calms a bit. But sooner or later I am going to have to do it under way. Anyway around the slug stop issue short of leaving it off?
