Javelin deck inspection plate.

Javelin needs inspection plate in stern area, there was a critter living there needs to be cleaned out.
i was going to put on 6” inspection plate on centerline aft of centerboard.
is there a support on centerline under the decking does anyone know?
there are two inspection plates each side of centerboard not sure if original or not?

Those 2 inspection ports at the forward end of the cockpit are original. There MAY be a support "rib" running aft from near the CB trunk and under the cockpit sole (floor) based on what I found when I added an inspection port just aft of my centerboard trunk. No core in hte sole as far as I know,. I didn't know about the "rib" and cut right through it, I ended up adding a couple of pieces of plywood, one on each side of the hole created to try to retain the structural integrity of the sole.

What ever there was for insulation under the seat or seats has been demolished by the critter that lived there and need to clean out. so I will find out maybe do the same with plywood. Thanks.
