Well it's finally over. I've completed my six months of chemo treatment today. It was very aggressive and I was able to tolerate very well. My tumor shrunk 70% and blood test show me to be in the normal range. (Don't go there, I already know I'm not normal). Doctor has given me 6 months off, but I still need to do monthly blood tests to watch the levels. I will report back in February to have another CTSCAN to check the tumor. WHEEEEEEEE
So with that, SV Java is ready to make the trip to Key West, FL and Ft Myers where I will spend some time with family and grandchildren. Joan and I will be leaving Cobb Island, MD on Sunday Nov 16th around 4pm with an overnight run to Norfolk, VA. We plan to be back by the 1st of May but that is a guess. Don't worry about us freezing our butts off, Java has a full enclouser and stays very nice in the cockpit. I will be posting in facebook and Seven Seas Cruising.
