Let us know what kind it is and whether it is in a shroud, in mast, or free standing. Does the clew come out at all? Is it the sail that is stuck, or is it the hardware.
There is a lot of knowledge monitoring this thread but they need more info.

Details on the boat, mast, what has happened previously i.e. any troubles before, how was it last furled, what were you and/or the sail doing when it jammed.

jamed in mast furling
hunter 380 seldon in mast furling let sail out half way and it jamed would not let out any futher. looked like it had a fold in it aprox 10 feet up. so i just winched it back in and now cant get out looks like not it was not tight enough when i brought back in. 2001 model never had this problem i have had the baot for 1 year last time i let out main was 2 weeks ago. no problem

use the winch on the mast and at the same time use the outhaul on the cabin top winch both at the same time with one other person.
You most likely jammed it real bad and will need both winchs to pull out,just make sure when you get it out again you furl it back in nice and tight.

The first time I used my in-mast furling main (on a Z-Spar mast), I jammed it pretty badly. What I had to do was unfurl it as far as I could and then work my way up the mast in a bosun's chair with a slat of wood. I poked the slat into the slot in the mast and worked the mainsail out bit at a time while the person on deck winched it out.
My mistake was that I didn't keep enough tension on the out-haul as I furled the main up.

Another point...make sure the topping lift or rigid boom vang is holding the boom at the proper angle to the mast when trying to furl it again. This is often a very critical thing and can lead to problems with furling if the angle is off.
