I'm gettting ready to place my, new to me, C-30 on the hard for some repairs. The boat has a draft of 5' 3". What size (height) jack stands should I use? Also, how many should I use: 4, 5, or 6? Your input will be appreciated. Duke
This past winter a fellow marina tenant had a Cat 310. He used jackstands. High wind came along and toppled the boat into his neighbors boat. My Cat 30 has a steel cradle. My opinion is that cradles are more secure. I have second thoughts about using jackstands since that incident. Good luck John
