I have a ParMax 4 in my galley for water pressure. It started leaking around the pressure switch, and I changed that out which solved the leak there, but now it seems to be dripping at the pump/head interface. I need to pull it apart and see what's going on.

My question is, where do you guys source your Jabsco pumps and parts? Nothing seems to be available over the counter here in the Stuart area. The response I get to everything I enquire about is "we can have it here in 2 - 3 weeks". I thought these Jabsco pumps were commonplace.

Download the Jabsco ParMax4 owner manual so you understand what parts are necessary and how the thing goes together. Before you order anything try tightening the 4 bolts on the head maybe 1/8 1/4 turn? Don't over do it.

ParMax 4 series has several iterations so use the Jabsco owner manual to identify the parts you need - these are shown by number in the manual. For parts use http://www.depcopump.com. Depco does not have on-line ordering you call them at their 800 number but this assures you get the right parts. Generally all the elastic parts will be just over $40.

If you need to disassemble/replace then do replace both the (elastic part) assemblies - the valve body and the diaphragm. There are youtube videos showing how.

Try Lewis Supply in Florida. Most good chandleries if they know what they are doing, should be able to special order parts for you.
