I recently replaced the pump and valve components for my Jabsco manual toilet. Ever since, the pump makes a loud squeaking sound when operated. I was thinking that I would try to lubricate the rubber ring around the end of the pump plunger, but am unsure as to what product to use. Any advice?

West Marine...

sells a head lubricant. Add 4 oz. directly to the bowl, pump to circulate, sit for 12 hours (not you), and you'll be in business, uh...ready to go, uh...ready to use it, uh...it'll work!

Paul's right...

The product is teflon grease...two brands: SuperLube or Sea Lube.

Thanks, Peggy!

I had a tube of SuperLube hanging around and applied it this past weekend. Problem solved.
