Any experience w/J-Props? Hear lots of raves about Max-Prop, but nothing either way about J-Prop which has external adjustment at a much lower cost. $2380 v. $3145
You should also consider the Kiwi prop. I put one on my 37.5 last year, and it has been performing just as well motoring as the 3 bladed fixed prop it replaced. It has the lowest drag of all the feathering propellers because the blades are independent and align to the waterflow rather than the shaft (which is 15 to 25 degrees out of line with the water flow.Sofar I have only good experience with it. And it was cheap as well.
Looked at the Kiwi website & am a little concerned that they are not very forthcoming with diagrams of the guts of the prop. Competitors show off insides, hd gears, precisise machining, etc. Not much clue as to Kiwi construction therefore longevity.
