It's just not fair, I got a nice little bonus from work and I was going to outfit Java with a cruising spinnaker. So I thought. The handle on the microwave breaks off and is a built-in unit with the stove (getting the picture yet?). Its so old you can't get parts for it. So my lovely wife says we need to get a new stove and microwave combo and since we are at it,lets get a new refrigerator. Everything is about 18 years of age and would like to upgrade the looks of the kitchen. Can you say "Goodbye Cruising Spinnaker" I wonder if she would let me get one if I threw a tantrum! ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) Much crying CRYING Its not fair. Sound of feet stamping the floor!!! Jim S/V Java

'Accidentally' break the handle off your, uh... genoa!?! Yeah, that's it. Hey, if it works in the kitchen...

Home Depot sells a nice line of wooden handles. With a couple of coats of varnish and a little MarineTex to hold it on, you have a nautical look in your kitchen. Hey you are a sailor - you can fix anything. Good luck, Peter Ps. If you take Phil's suggestion, have it shipped to your office.
