Heard on VHF Channel 16 today: "Big ship on the horizon, big ship on the horizon, this sailing vessel XX. Can you see me?"
We're in Oaxaca and we visited the mercado yesterday. It is huge. Filled with all kinds of foods and products and arts and crafts. But mostly, these markets are filled with people. Here in southern mexico, not everyone has a car so they either take the bus or hire a taxi. However, Uber is slowly moving in, only in mexico, they are called
Uburros. You can Uburro all over the country for less than a taxi.

This Uburro thing causes visions of 8 foot inflatables with commercial registrations chasing people around anchorages.

That post @pateco is funny. It has me chuckling. I took a moment. But then I put up with the same water temps all year. Water you would not want to dive into even if there was a line wrapped around the prop. At least not with out a dry suit and several layers of insulating clothes underneath. In our waters, it is not about shrinkage it is about retreat.
