The BEST onboard Margaritas

Peggie, For the BEST onboard margaritas do this: 1. Place ice (the more it is crushed the better), margarita mix, tequila and a slice of lime in a large container (heavy on the tequila). 2. Pour the mix into a BLACK sewer hose recently removed from the head and holding tank. NOTE 1: Hose MUST be a cosmetically acceptable BLACK hose. NOTE 2: It is best to pump out the holding tank before removing the hose. 3. Plug the hose using tapered wood plugs (you can find them placed near your ever so inconvenient to use seacocks under the lockers and cabinets) in the ends of the hose and secure them using the best quality stainless clamps. 4. Take the margarita filled hose and gently place it on the cabin sole. 5. With brief but intense stomps, smash the weather helm the hell out of it. Do this for at least 5 minutes or until you need to tack, whichever comes first. NOTE 3: It is better to do this on a run as the mixture remains more level during stomping and thus hastens the end results. 6. Carefully unplug ONE end of the BLACK hose and pour mixture into 4 (or more if you have a long hose or lots of undeserving guests aboard) authentic (with your boat name ingraved on them) Mexican-American salt-rimmed margarita glasses. 8. Drink! Drink! Drink! 9. Replace hose on the head and holding tank (be careful to install properly, after all, you have been drinking!) 10. Enjoy the rest of the evening (afternoon?) and worry no more about head odor. Your old BLACK hose is now odor free and non-permeable thanks to the alcohol (and a little lime) from your new way to make the BEST onboard margaritas!

Authentic Painkiller recipe

**Pusser's Painkiller** 4 parts Pineapple Juice 1 part Cream of Coconut 1 part Orange Juice 2 Parts Pussers Rum Top with nutmeg, serve with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry on a stick (paper umbrella optional). Remember to only use Pussers Rum. No other rum will have the great rich taste. (In a pinch you CAN use Myers but it won't taste the same.

PAIN KILLER 1/4 glass Rum (Pusser) 1/4 glass Cream of coconut 1/3 glass Pineapple juice Healthy splash Orange juice Sprinkle Nutmeg 1 Maraschino cherry Lots Ice Mixing instructions: Fill cup with ice. Pour Pusser's Rum to fill about 1/4 of the glass. Fill with an equal amount of Cream of Coconut (Coco Lopez is good. Add some pineapple juice and a good splash of orange juice. Shake well. Add cherry and sprinkly nutmeg. Grab a staw and get ready! This was originally made in the Britsh Virgin Islands Pussers is the official rum of the Royal British Navy. Alter the amount of rum to your taste.
