Our boat (H460, Anthem) has been sold to a couple in the Boston area. All the contingencies have been met and we are just waiting for the closing date. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that I have personally met through this site and those who have been regular participators on this site for all the great informations and comraderie over the years. Our sailing days are over, but our boating is not. We are looking for a boat that is easier to handle short handed. Keep your eyes open, we will be coming through with another Anthem in the not too distance future. Thanks to Phil, Bly and the crew who make this site possible. I'll be stopping back on occasion to make sure you guys are doing it RIGHT! Fair Winds to All.

Sad day

Mark, we're really going to miss you around here. Your support of the site has meant alot ot us for many years now. and it bothers me even more knowing that we'll probably lose you to a (do I read between the line right?) trawler site! Fair winds to you and your family; I hope you'll come back and post a photo of the next Anthem!

You can't leave, Mark!

We allow boatless people to participate--Right, Phil?? Besides...sticking around is a good way to get invited to go sailing with folks all over the place. And now that you won't have a boat to support, you can afford the airfare to get there! :)

I've got my hankie and a bottle of Tanqie!

You'll have to step down from that 460 to a 340 but you guys know that you are always welcome for a sail and good times. Of course there are plenty of fine beverages once we're back at the dock. Best of luck to you and Marilyn in your search and a speedy return to the water for you both. God bless the new Anthem, tho a pilothouse she may be.
