Itinerary/sail plan from West Palm to Conn

I am going to help move a boat from West Palm, Fl. to Connecticut. Does anyone have a sail plan/log of such a trip. Our plan may be to sail in open water from WPB to Beaufort, NC possibly going round the clock for that leg. From there up the ICW as much as possible. The boat draws 7.5 ft. (a deep one). Any info on such a trip would be appreciated. Thanks ... Dennis

No depth

We just came down to Miami from Montreal and did the ICW from Norfolk to Miami. We have 4.8feet draft on our Vision 32.Very difficult trip because of the lack of depth, we sraped bottom many times, beached a few times, we turned off the alarm as it would buzz most of the time.My advise, if I may, go up the ocean, forgetthe ICW completely.Sincerely,Jean Hrab
