I read the board, and I see posts of those in the NE, who are sailing in 85 degree weather, and in t shirts. And here I sit, in SW Fla., waiting on a weather window to cross over to Isla Mujeras, and the best we can do is low to mid 70's for a high, and is a forecast for a cold front to come through this afternoon. I tell you it just ain't fair.

Barely hit 40 here, but tomorrow will be in the 50s which is nice this time of year. Good boat working weather.

They said it hit 91* one of the days and atleast in the 80's as we sailed this last week but yes at times the water was yellow from the pollen.

We had just enough very warm weather to force all of the spring flowers into bloom and past in two weeks. if it stays properly cool for the time of year we have flowers for a month.

We still have ice. Marina won't even let us put the boat in the water for another 20 days.

Put a jacket on and go sailing :)

Did you say 85 degrees in the Northeast Nice N Easy?

There is not one boat in yet on Marblehead harbor. Unless you want to count lobster boats with a steadying sail Yes there was a rare warm record breaking day earlier this week but the
only sailors out were a few frostbiters and they drysail all winter on civil days. When I went out this morning with the intention of doing some work on my bottom. Yes the sun was out but at 38 degrees it was just too cold for my old bones. Your complaining about 70 degrees?
Thats beach weather around here.

Have some wine with your whine and enjoy your weather. Here we went from winter to summer, but I think now we're going to go back and pick up spring. We'll take what we can get!

Dunno where you have been N and E..here in St Pete we have had a lovely two weeks of clear warm weather. Helped a friend provision and stowed his stuff.. He took off the minute he could two weeks back after that front came thru on a Friday night.
St Pete straight to the Tortugas, 36 hrs straight thru. Overnighted at the Tortugas.. They are sitting in Ambergris Cay, Belize as I type this.

The temps this time of year are usually mid 70's. It has been glorious and what someone else said, pollen ridden. I was at a park last wednesday. Looked down and I Had yellow feet. Orchid trees over at Vinoy/Northshore are in bloom.. My hibiscus are in bloom as well, covered with Coral colored flowers.

After this past winter, I shall take anything above 70 and be thankful.
YMMV

From Avondale, RI, where there has been a small craft advisory for the past few days despite sunny skies: only three sailboats in the water at our marina. Most are still shrink-wrapped. The Admiral and I were the only ones to spend the night in the marina last night. Quiet but chilly. Needed the cabin heater and down comforters.
