Today was perfect for sailing, I can only sail on sunday due to work, We had 10 to 20 mph and i over slept woke up sick. I think it's the flu, spent most all day looking out at the wind and the temp at 79f. Just didn't feel like doing anything, I am sure I am not the only one this has happend to, it sucks.

I was serious, I have had a few days that I was trashed

after staying on the boat. I stay on the boat Thursday night to Sunday.
I have had a few restless nights that I have had a mild case of seasickness the next morning. Believe me it is not a desired situation, but if you have not been seasick, you will be. If you are not prepared for it, you should be. It is quite disabling. I have seen grown, stong men disabled to the piont I don't think they could have saved themselves if conditions had been worse.
I have riden the edge of seasickness where I knew if I got any more tired, I would have been overcome.
When they say green that is not an insult, it just is! Death looks good.
I have not been to that point but I have awaken with some disorientation and sluggishness.
My x-wife turned green on a trip back from St. Michaels. We sailed to St. Michaels in gail warnings. It was dead calm on the way back when she turned green.
I sailed in a race that a contestant said I need another crew. His crew had sailed twice before in the day light. The race was a night race. We tacked from the good weather side to the bad and he was greeeeeeeener than anyone I have ever seen. The owner of the boat went below for about 5 minutes and came up slightly green..... Disabled so that he could do about half of what we NEEDED. That was a scarry night.
Green, expect it, at some point it will happen, it may been mild or rough.
Responsibility helps to fight it, and going below will not be a good thing.
