"Isotherm" fridge..comments?

Anyone can advise on "Isotherm" refrigerator units? For same 12V refrigarating volume , they look much smaller and cost less.. What's the catch..?

Looking at purchasing an Isotherm SP model myself. I like the thru-hull idea and the ASU feature. However, like you I haven't been able to locate any users.

ISOTHERM

The lower price is due to lower cost, less efficient components, such as the wire formed condenser. This is a much less efficient condenser than a finned coil unit that is found on higher quality eguipment. Other items to look for include stainless steel construction, marinized electronics, warranty terms, quality of service. Basically, anything you would normally look for and expect when making a high cost purchase.
